Whether you end up hiring one of the vendors from our trusted list or someone else, here are a few tips to making the best choice.
Get several quotes.
It never hurts to shop. Dream up your menu and ask several catering companies what it would cost to make that a reality. You can get quotes from two or three caterers and make the choice that fits your budget.
Meet in person or talk over the phone.
Email is great, but when you are hiring a company to play an important role in your wedding day, pick up the phone and chat. A vendor worth hiring will want to meet you or talk to you and answer your questions.
Don’t rush.
Plan ahead and take your time. That might seem like an oxymoron, but it’s not. Start searching for your photographer, DJ, caterer, etc. well in advance, but start the search early so that you can take your time making a choice. Planning a wedding is a marathon, not a sprint.
Lastly, don’t feel pressured! Below we have listed wedding pros in our area that we love working with. We have met with or worked with these vendors several times. They know our space and we know that they care about your wedding day and the role they play.
